Having a set rule for how to solve a problem is a little like having a set rule for the colonisation of Mars.

Problems are not identical. That’s what makes problems problematic. The world today is different than it was yesterday. Unknown factors emerge. And what looked so much like the answer to everything in the beginning often turns out to be the root of all evil.

We don’t have any set rules on how to solve a problem or how we add value to a company through improving their use of technology. We like to take responsibility for making it happen, but we don’t ask our clients to point out which tools we’ll be needing before we leave home.

Having said that, we do divide our work into three stages depending on when we enter the process. We have named them: Strategy, Executing and Managing.
